LVMH Watch Week, Singapore, 11th January 2023: A few months after launching its groundbreaking TAG Heuer Aquaracer Solargraph at Watches and Wonders 2022, TAG Heuer is pleased to announce the arrival of the new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph powered yet again by a solar movement. This new timepiece joins the beautifully curated TAG Heuer Aquaracer collection, known for its exceptional quality, resistance and performance. The new model’s strengths lie in its lightness and durability – and hence make it the ultimate companion for the outdoors.
Crafted for the greatest outdoors
The history of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer began in 1978 when Jack Heuer launched the Heuer Reference 844, which was already aimed at adventure enthusiasts. This timepiece, designed for both men and women who enjoy sports and challenges on land or in the water, paved the way for a new, high-performance category of versatile watches, on which one can rely in all conditions, even the most extreme.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer name was added in 2004, extending the legacy of the family’s six signature features: a unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, water resistance to 200 meters or more, luminous markings, sapphire crystal and a double safety clasp.
Bold, active and in tune with nature, the philosophy of the TAG Heuer Aquaracer has always been based on a perfect fusion with the elements while being naturally elegant. In March 2022, at Watches and Wonders, TAG Heuer applied this philosophy to the original TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, which introduced the first TAG Heuer watch and Aquaracer with a solar-powered movement. This year, TAG Heuer designed this timepiece with the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph in titanium, with a bold metallic look, improving quality and durability even further. This new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph is the perfect companion as it was created to offer comfort, robustness and durability.
Solargraph, a solar movement developed for TAG Heuer
As the sun intensifies any outdoor experience, whether in the desert, fields or the mountains, The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph embraces it, using the light to illuminate the Super-Luminova® elements of the watch. Thanks to the black indexes, hour and minute hand, and the polar blue lacquered central hands, all covered with Super-Luminova®, the wearers can not only see their watch in pitch dark but can also carry on with the activities of their choice at nighttime.
TAG Heuer’s Solargraph movement is known for harnessing the sun, an unlimited energy source and offers many guaranteed benefits. With the Solargraph movement, there is no need to change the watch’s battery: it is recharged by the sun or artificial light. A two-minute exposure to direct sunlight is enough to power the watch for an entire day. Once fully charged, after less than 20 hours in the sun, the watch can run for up to six months with no light exposure. If the timepiece stops ticking, it only needs exposure to any light source for ten seconds to get it started again, thanks to its ultra-efficient recharge time.

To develop this reliable and efficient movement, called Caliber TH50-00, TAG Heuer partnered with the Manufacture La Joux-Perret in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The Caliber TH50-00 is developed and manufactured exclusively for TAG Heuer and has a 5-year extended warranty.
The TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph will be sold in TAG Heuer stores worldwide and on the TAG Heuer e-commerce site starting in February 2023.
